St. John City is a one of the St. Louis County, Missouri, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 6871 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 6381, It is the 102nd largest by population in the U.S. state of Missouri. The city has a total area of 1.42 mi˛ (3.68 square kilometre), making it Missouri's 314th largest by total area.
