St. Cloud City is a city located in Stearns, Benton and Sherburne counties, Minnesota, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 59107 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 66948, It is 11th most populous in Minnesota. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 30.93 mi˛ (80.11 square kilometre), of which, 30.16 square miles (78.11 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.78 square miles (2.02 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 40th largest by total area in Minnesota.

As of the census of 2000, there were 59107 residents, 22652 households, and 12263 families in the city. The population density was 1959.9 people per square mile (756.72/km˛), it is Minnesota's 78th most densely populated city. There were 23249 housing units at an average density of 770.9 per square mile (297.65/km˛). The average household size was 2.4 and the average family size was 3.
