According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the St. Clair Shores City is home to 63096 inhabitants. It has total area of 14.25 mi˛ (36.91 sq km), of which, 11.53 square miles (29.86 sq km) of it is land and 2.72 square miles (7.04 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 51st largest by total area among Michigan.
