St. Charles City is a city located in the St. Charles County, Missouri, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 60321 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 64386, It is the eighth largest by population in the U.S. state of Missouri. The city comprises an area of 20.84 sq mi (53.98 square kilometre), of which, 20.36 square miles (52.73 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.48 square miles (1.24 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 19th largest in terms of geographical size.
