St. Augustine City is a United States city located in the St. Johns County, Florida, United States. The city has a population of 11592 as per the 2000 census data. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 12404, It is the 240th most populous in the U.S. state of Florida. The city encompasses an area of 10.73 sq mi (27.79 square kilometre ), of which, 8.37 square miles (21.68 square kilometre) of it is land and 2.36 square miles (6.11 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Florida's 175th largest by total area.
