Springfield City, Michigan is a city of the Calhoun County, Michigan, United States. As of 2000 the population was 5189. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 5037, It is the 178th largest in terms of population. The city extends throughout a territory of 3.75 sq mi (9.71 square kilometre ), of which, 3.72 square miles (9.63 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 202nd largest by area in the U.S. state of Michigan.
