Springfield City, Effingham County, Georgia is a city located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Springfield City is home to 1821 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 2126, It is the 259th largest by population in the U.S. state of Georgia. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.13 sq mi (5.52 kmē), it is the 354th largest by area in the U.S. state of Georgia.
