Springdale City is a one of the Washington and Benton counties, Arkansas, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 45798 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 68180, making it Arkansas's seventh largest. It has total area of 31.31 square miles (81.09 sq km), of which, 31.3 square miles (81.07 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, making it Arkansas's 13th largest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 45798 people, 16149 households, and 11852 families residing in the city. The population density was 1463 people per square mile (564.87/kmē), it is the 24th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Arkansas. There were 16962 housing units at an average density of 541.9 per square mile (209.23/kmē). The average household size was 2.8 and the average family size was 3.26. In the city Population was distributed with 29% under the age of 18, 10.7% from 18 to 24, 31.4% from 25 to 44, 18.7% from 45 to 64, and 10.2% who were 65 or older. The racial makeup of the city was 37380 White, 377 Black or African American, 431 American Indian, 772 Asian, 712 Native Hawaiian, 1047 from two or more races and 5079 Ohter races.
