Spencer Mountain Town is a one of the Gaston County, North Carolina, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 51 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 68, It is the second smallest by population in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It has total area of 0.53 square miles (1.37 kmē), of which, 0.49 square miles (1.27 kmē) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 61st smallest by total area in North Carolina.
