Speedway Town, Marion County, Indiana is a town located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The population of the town was 12881 as per the 2000 census data. The town's estimated population as of July 2008 was 12594, making it Indiana's 60th largest. Its area is just over 4.76 square miles (12.33 kmē), of which, 4.75 square miles (12.3 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 99th largest by area in the U.S. state of Indiana.

As of the census of 2000, there were 12881 people in the town, organized into 6151 households, and 3278 families residing in the town. The population density was 2708.9 people per square mile (1045.91/kmē), it is the 50th most densely populated town in the U.S. state of Indiana.
