The census designated place encompasses an area of 6.74 mi˛ (17.46 square kilometre ), of which, 6.58 square miles (17.04 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.16 square miles (0.41 square kilometre) of it is water, making it New York's 112th largest by total area.
