South Jacksonville Village is a city located in Morgan County, Illinois, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. It is home to over 3475 people (2000 census). In July 2008, its estimated population was 3250, making it the 388th most populous in Illinois. The city extends throughout a territory of 1.71 mi˛ (4.43 sq km ), of which, 1.65 square miles (4.27 sq km) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 sq km) of it is water, it is the 498th largest by area in the U.S. state of Illinois.
