South Bethany Town, Delaware is a town of the Sussex County, Delaware, United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 492 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 526, making it Delaware's 23rd smallest. Its area is just over 0.53 miē (1.37 kmē), of which, 0.52 square miles (1.35 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 24th smallest in terms of geographical size.
