Somerset Borough is a borough located in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The borough has a population of 6762 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the borough is 6359, It is the 192nd most populous in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The borough comprises an area of 2.74 square miles (7.1 square kilometre), giving it the 245th largest by total area among Pennsylvania.
