Soda Springs City is a one of the Caribou County, Idaho, located in Western Region (Mountain) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 3381. The July 2008 population estimate is 3072, It is 37th most populous in Idaho. Its area is just over 4.57 square miles (11.84 square kilometre), of which, 4.53 square miles (11.73 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 29th largest by area in the U.S. state of Idaho.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3381 people, 1210 households, and 905 families residing in the city. The population density was 747.1 people per square mile (288.46/kmē), it is 67th least densely populated city in Idaho. There were 1505 housing units at an average density of 332.2 per square mile (128.26/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.74 persons, and the average family size was 3.24 persons.
