Soap Lake City is a city located in the Grant County, Washington, United States. In 2000, the population was 1733. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1826, It is the 293rd most populous in the U.S. state of Washington. It has total area of 1.21 square miles (3.13 kmē), it is the 129th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Washington.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1733 people in the city, organized into 778 households, and 428 families living in the city.
