Snowmass Village Town, Pitkin County, Colorado is a town located in the Western Region (Mountain) of United States. In 2000, town's population was 1822 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1911, giving it the 154th largest population among Colorado. The town comprises an area of 25.57 square miles (66.23 kmē), of which, 25.48 square miles (65.99 kmē) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 kmē) of it is water, it is the 24th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1822 people, 864 households, and 394 families living in the town. The population density was 71.5 people per square mile (27.61/kmē), making it the 15th least densely populated town in Colorado. There were 1734 housing units at an average density of 68.1 per square mile (26.29/kmē). The average household size was 2.09 and the average family size was 2.74. In the town the population was spread out, with 15.8% under the age of 18, 7.6% from 18 to 24, 41.6% from 25 to 44, 28.7% from 45 to 64, and 6.3% who were 65 or older. The median age was 37.3 years, the median age of male residents at 36.5 and the median age of female residents at 38.4. The racial or ethnic makeup of the town was 1774 White, 3 Black or African American, 1 American Indian, 13 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 19 from two or more races and 12 Ohter races.
