Smyrna City, Cobb County, Georgia is a city located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 40999 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 49854, It is 13th most populous in Georgia. The city has a total area of 13.92 mi˛ (36.05 square kilometre), of which, 13.9 square miles (36 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Georgia's 50th largest by total area.
