Smithville City, DeKalb County, Tennessee is a city located in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. Smithville City had an official population of 3994 in 2000. The city extends throughout a territory of 5.88 square miles (15.23 square kilometre ), it is the 151st largest by area in the U.S. state of Tennessee.
