Slope County is a one of the county from North Dakota's 53 counties, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of county in 2000 stood at 767 as per the Census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 675, It is least populous county in North Dakota. The county has a total area of 1219.22 sq mi (3157.77 square kilometre), of which, 1217.94 square miles (3154.45 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.28 square miles (3.32 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 26th largest in terms of geographical size.
