Slippery Rock Borough is a borough located in Butler County, Pennsylvania, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The population of borough in 2000 stood at 3068 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 3068, making it Pennsylvania's 447th largest. The borough extends throughout a territory of 1.69 square miles (4.38 kmē ), it is the 459th largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

The population density was 1820.4 people per square mile (702.86/kmē), giving it the 694th most densely populated borough among the Pennsylvania.
