Slatington Borough is a one of the Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 4434 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population was 4404, giving it the 323rd largest population among Pennsylvania. It covers total area of 1.38 mi˛ (3.57 square kilometre), of which, 1.32 square miles (3.42 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 574th largest in terms of geographical size.

In the borough the population is diverse age-wise, with 27.1% under the age of 18, 7.5% from 18 to 24, 32.4% from 25 to 44, 19.7% from 45 to 64, and 13.3% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 94.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 89.3 males.
