Six Mile Town, South Carolina is a town of the Pickens County, South Carolina, United States. Six Mile Town had an official population of 553 in 2000. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the town is 582, making it the 97th least populous in South Carolina. The town comprises an area of 1.82 sq mi (4.71 kmē), of which, 1.82 square miles (4.71 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 245th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 553 residents, 200 households, and 154 families in the town. The population density was 304.4 people per square mile (117.53/kmē), giving it the 89th least densely populated town among the South Carolina. There were 223 housing units at an average density of 122.5 per square mile (47.3/kmē). The average household size was 2.6 people, and the average family size was 3.02 people.
