Silver Springs Cdp is a United States census designated place located in the Lyon County, Nevada, United States. As per the 2000 census, census designated place has a population of 4708 inhabitants. It is the 32nd most populous in the U.S. state of Nevada. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the census designated place has a total area of 78.59 square miles (203.55 sq km), of which, 72.43 square miles (187.59 sq km) of it is land and 6.15 square miles (15.93 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 12th largest by total area in Nevada. It is ranks third in the size of its inland waterways in Nevada.

As of the census of 2000, there were 4708 people, 1766 households, and 1228 families residing in the census designated place. The population density was 65 people per square mile (25.1/kmē), it would be the 14th least densely populated census designated place in the U.S. state of Nevada.
