Silver Lake City is a city located in Shawnee County, Kansas, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 1358 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 1380 in July 2008, It is the 163rd largest in terms of population. It is spread over 0.56 sq mi (1.45 kmē), of which, 0.55 square miles (1.42 kmē ) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 279th largest by total area among Kansas.
