Silver Grove City, Campbell County, Kentucky is a city located in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. Silver Grove City had an official population of 1215 in 2000. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 1153, making it Kentucky's 216th largest. The city has a total area of 2.15 mi˛ (5.57 square kilometre), of which, 1.22 square miles (3.16 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.94 square miles (2.43 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 176th largest in terms of geographical size. It is ranks eighth in the size of its inland waterways in Kentucky.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1215 residents, 474 households, and 317 families in the city. The population density was 999.8 people per square mile (386.02/km˛), it is the 256th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Kentucky. There were 496 housing units at an average density of 406.6 per square mile (156.99/km˛). The average household size was 2.56 persons, and the average family size was 3.16 persons. In the city the population was spread out, with 28.1% under the age of 18, 10% from 18 to 24, 32.4% from 25 to 44, 18% from 45 to 64, and 11.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 86.9 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 91.4 females. The median age was 32.1 years, the median age of male residents at 31.2 and the median age of female residents at 33.4. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 1196 White, 2 Black or African American, 5 American Indian, 1 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 8 from two or more races and 3 Ohter races.
