Silver Bay City is a city located in Lake County, Minnesota, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 2068 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1840, It is the 239th most populous in the U.S. state of Minnesota. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 8.17 square miles (21.16 square kilometre), of which, 7.72 square miles (19.99 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.45 square miles (1.17 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 116th largest by size in Minnesota.
