Show Low City is a one of the Navajo County, Arizona, located in Western Region (Mountain) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 7695 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 12324, making it the 58th most populous in Arizona. The city encompasses an area of 27.93 sq mi (72.34 sq km ), of which, 27.86 square miles (72.16 sq km) of it is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 sq km) of it is water, it is the 58th largest by area in the U.S. state of Arizona.

As of the census of 2000, there were 7695 people, 2885 households, and 2117 families residing in the city. The population density was 276.2 people per square mile (106.64/kmē), making its Arizona's 124th most densely populated city. There were 4337 housing units at an average density of 155.7 per square mile (60.12/kmē). The average household size was 2.64 and the average family size was 3.07. Age range in the city was well distributed with 29.2% under the age of 18, 7.4% from 18 to 24, 24.9% from 25 to 44, 23.5% from 45 to 64, and 15% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 95.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.5 males. The median age is 36.6 years, the median age of male residents at 34.4 and the median age of female residents at 38.4. The racial makeup of the city was 88.99% White, 0.27% Black or African American, 3.92% American Indian, 0.65% Asian, 0.08% Native Hawaiian, 2.03% from two or more races and 4.05% Other races.
