Shippingport Borough is a one of the Beaver County, Pennsylvania, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 237. The July 2008 population estimate is 219, It is 133rd least populous in Pennsylvania. The borough comprises an area of 3.64 sq mi (9.43 kmē), of which, 3.28 square miles (8.5 kmē) of it is land and 0.36 square miles (0.93 kmē) of it is water, it is the 168th largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

As of the census of 2000, there were 237 people in the borough, organized into 89 households, and 63 families residing in the borough. The population density was 72.2 people per square mile (27.88/kmē), it is Pennsylvania's 20th least densely populated borough. There were 95 housing units at an average density of 29 per square mile (11.2/kmē). The average household size was 2.66 people, and the average family size was 3.21 people. In the borough the population was spread out, with 27.8% under the age of 18, 8% from 18 to 24, 28.3% from 25 to 44, 19.8% from 45 to 64, and 16% who were 65 or older.
