Sherwood City is a city in the Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. As of 2000 the population was 21511. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 24542, giving it the 18th largest population among Arkansas. Its area is just over 14.03 mi˛ (36.34 square kilometre), of which, 13.81 square miles (35.77 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.22 square miles (0.57 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 34th largest in terms of geographical size.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 21511 residents, 8798 households, and 6209 families in the city. The population density was 1557.9 people per square mile (601.51/km˛), making it the 20th most densely populated city in Arkansas.
