Sherman County, Kansas is a county of the United States of Kansas. As of 2000 the population was 6760. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 6013, making it Kansas's 61st largest county. It has total area of 1056.01 miē (2735.05 kmē), of which, 1055.8 square miles (2734.51 kmē) of it is land and 0.21 square miles (0.54 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 14th largest by total area in Kansas.
