Shelton City is a city located in the Mason County, Washington, United States. The population of the city was 8442 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 9276, It is the 119th largest by population in the U.S. state of Washington. The city comprises an area of 5.89 mi˛ (15.26 square kilometre), of which, 5.56 square miles (14.4 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.33 square miles (0.85 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 159th largest in terms of geographical size.
