It is home to over 164 people (2000 census). giving it the 202nd largest population among Alaska. The city spans an area of 18.51 square miles (47.94 sq km), of which, 13.18 square miles (34.14 sq km) of it is land and 5.33 square miles (13.8 sq km) of it is water, making it Alaska's 199th largest by total area.
