It is the 104th most populous in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. Its area is just over 3.02 mi˛ (7.82 square kilometre), of which, 2.99 square miles (7.74 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Massachusetts's 69th smallest by total area.
