Shanksville Borough is a borough located in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, borough has a population of 245 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 222, It is the 141st smallest in terms of population. The borough comprises an area of 0.18 sq mi (0.47 kmē), it is the 89th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
