Seneca County is a county in the United States of Ohio. In 2000, county's population was 58683 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 56461, It is Ohio's 45th most populous county. The county extends throughout a territory of 552.37 miē (1430.63 kmē ), of which, 550.59 square miles (1426.02 kmē) of it is land and 1.78 square miles (4.61 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 22nd largest by total area in Ohio.
