Seneca County, New York is a county of the United States of New York. As of 2000 the population was 33342. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 34086, It is New York's sixth least populous county. The county extends throughout a territory of 390.51 miē (1011.42 kmē ), of which, 324.91 square miles (841.51 kmē) of it is land and 65.6 square miles (169.9 kmē) of it is water, it is the 11th smallest in terms of geographical size.

The population's age distribution was 24.8% under the age of 18, 7.5% from 18 to 24, 28.8% from 25 to 44, 23.8% from 45 to 64, and 15.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 100.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.5 males. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 34086, The racial makeup of the county was 92.23% White, 5.27% Black or African American, 0.31% American Indian, 1.02% Asian, 0.02% Native Hawaiian, and 1.15% from two or more races.
