Seminole County is a United States county located in the United States of Oklahoma. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Seminole County is home to 24894 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 24200, making it Oklahoma's 37th largest county. The county comprises an area of 640.57 sq mi (1659.07 kmē), of which, 632.51 square miles (1638.19 kmē) of it is land and 8.06 square miles (20.88 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 17th smallest by total area among Oklahoma's county.

The population density was 39.4 people per square mile (15.21/kmē), it is Oklahoma's 28th most densely populated county. There were 11146 housing units at an average density of 17.6 per square mile (6.8/kmē). The average household size was 2.54 and the average family size was 3.05. The population's age distribution was 26.3% under the age of 18, 9% from 18 to 24, 24.4% from 25 to 44, 23.4% from 45 to 64, and 16.7% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 93.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90 males. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the county is 24200, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 17142 White, 1276 Black or African American, 4257 American Indian, 73 Asian, 13 Native Hawaiian, and 1439 from two or more races.
