Seminole County is a one of the county from Florida's 67 counties, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 365196. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 410854, giving it the 13th largest population among Florida's county. The county spans an area of 344.87 miē (893.21 kmē), of which, 308.2 square miles (798.23 kmē) of it is land and 36.67 square miles (94.97 kmē) of it is water, it is the third smallest by area in the U.S. state of Florida.

The population density was 1184.9 people per square mile (457.49/kmē), making its Florida's third most densely populated county. The population's age distribution was 25.4% under the age of 18, 8.4% from 18 to 24, 32% from 25 to 44, 23.6% from 45 to 64, and 10.6% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 95.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.9 males. The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 410854, The racial makeup of the county was 340237 White, 47066 Black or African American, 1649 American Indian, 14601 Asian, 275 Native Hawaiian, and 7026 from two or more races.
