Seminole City is one of the city of Seminole County, Oklahoma, located towards the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Seminole City is home to 6899 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 6804, It is the 54th largest by population in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. The city encompasses an area of 14.52 mi˛ (37.61 sq km ), of which, 13.95 square miles (36.13 sq km) of it is land and 0.57 square miles (1.48 sq km) of it is water, making it Oklahoma's 73rd largest by total area.
