Selma Town is a town located in Johnston County, North Carolina, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, town's population was 5914 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 6948, making it the 106th most populous in North Carolina. Its area is just over 3.23 square miles (8.37 sq km), giving it the 269th largest by total area among North Carolina.
