Seldovia City is a city in the Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska, United States. In 2000, city's population was 286 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 309, giving it the 159th largest population among Alaska. The city extends throughout a territory of 0.57 square miles (1.48 square kilometre ), of which, 0.38 square miles (0.98 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.19 square miles (0.49 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the fourth smallest by size in Alaska.

As of the census of 2000, there were 286 people, 134 households, and 71 families residing in the city. The population density was 749.9 people per square mile (289.54/kmē), giving it the eighth most densely populated city among the Alaska. There were 232 housing units at an average density of 610.5 per square mile (235.72/kmē). It has an average household size was 2.13 persons, and the average family size was 2.93 persons. In the city Population was distributed with 24.1% under the age of 18, 4.5% from 18 to 24, 21% from 25 to 44, 37.4% from 45 to 64, and 12.9% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 102.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 110.7 males. The racial makeup of the city was 210 White, 3 Black or African American, 50 American Indian, 2 Asian, 1 Native Hawaiian, 19 from two or more races and 1 Ohter races.
