Selby City is one of the city of Walworth County, South Dakota, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The city has a population of 736 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 647, It is South Dakota's 100th largest by population . The city encompasses an area of 0.83 square miles (2.15 kmē), making it South Dakota's 145th largest by total area.
