Sedalia City is one of the city of Pettis County, Missouri, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. It is home to over 20339 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population was 20990, It is the 34th largest by population in the U.S. state of Missouri. Its area is just over 11.96 mi˛ (30.98 square kilometre), it is the 37th largest in terms of geographical size.
