Sea Girt Borough is a borough in the Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. In 2000, the population was 2148. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the borough is 2070, It is 101st least populous in New Jersey. It has total area of 1.45 sq mi (3.76 sq km), of which, 1.06 square miles (2.75 sq km) of it is land and 0.39 square miles (1.01 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 151st smallest by total area among New Jersey.

The population density was 2026.9 people per square mile (782.59/kmē), it is the 166th least densely populated borough in the U.S. state of New Jersey. There were 1285 housing units at an average density of 1212.3 per square mile (468.07/kmē). The average household size was 2.28 and the average family size was 2.83. In the borough the population was distributed as follows: 20.1% under the age of 18, 3.7% from 18 to 24, 18.5% from 25 to 44, 30.2% from 45 to 64, and 27.5% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 87.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 82.6 males. The median age was 50.3 years, the median age of male residents at 48 and the median age of female residents at 52.5. The racial makeup of the borough was 2129 White, 2 Black or African American, American Indian, 6 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 10 from two or more races and 1 Ohter races.
