Scottsburg City, Scott County, Indiana is a city located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. It is home to over 6040 people (2000 census). According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 5912, making it Indiana's 102nd largest. It is spread over 4.82 square miles (12.48 kmē), of which, 4.8 square miles (12.43 kmē ) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 98th largest by area in the U.S. state of Indiana.
