Scottdale Borough is a borough located in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 4772 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 4409, making it Pennsylvania's 294th largest. The borough spans an area of 1.17 miē (3.03 kmē), giving it the 646th largest by total area among Pennsylvania.
