Schertz City is a one of the Guadalupe, Bexar and Comal counties, Texas, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The city has a population of 18694 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 30669, giving it the 123rd largest population among Texas. The city spans an area of 24.73 sq mi (64.05 sq km), making it Texas's 93rd largest by total area.
