Scappoose City is a city located in the Columbia County, Oregon, United States. It is home to over 4976 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 6377, It is the 90th most populous in the U.S. state of Oregon. The city extends throughout a territory of 2.46 square miles (6.37 kmē ), makes it the 111th largest by total area in Oregon.
