Scales Mound Village is one of the city of Jo Daviess County, Illinois, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. It is home to over 401 people (2000 census). Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 381, It is the 324th least populous in the U.S. state of Illinois.
